How do you have so many minions around you? I don't remember a encounter that has both centipede and spider. Are you sure you aren't playing surges incorrectly?
The treachery card that started it says, "The next time you reveal an encounter card, place all non-ranged figures on that card in spaces adjacent to the mice."

I think the card is badly written. You are playing it as it is literally written, but in this thread, we think it means only the non-range minions on the page that you are currently on.
They know we're here
They know we're here
I may be reading it too literal, it may mean to place minions normally, but place melee minions next to the mice. So if the pages on the encounter card is 2 elite rats (ranged) and 4 roaches, place the rats on the normal space furthest from the mice and the roaches next to the mice.
Yes you are taking it to litterley, this is exactly how it is played.
I was wondering where you were getting the roaches and greedy roaches bit.
If you are page 3, then place ONLY the page 3 minions next to the mice instead of normally. Ranged excepted of course.
You do NOT place the minions from every page on the card.
Note: while this is not a common mistake, some others have made it, don't feel bad. :)

This is VERY awesome news. I was quite shocked that they did not sell it by now.

Thread: Mice and Mystics:: Rules:: Chapter Three Dice Game Turn Order Questions
The Dining Hall setup instructions for Chapter Three state that if the mice have disguises, then we should 1) not add any minion cards to the initiative track, and 2) leave the player cards on the track in the same order, and 3) play the dice game.
It then says that the mice take turns at the dice game “in initiative order.”
Who goes first? The mouse who explored to get to the Dining Hall? The mouse after that mouse since that mouse just used their action? The mouse at the top of the initiative order?
Same question for when the dice game ends with fighting. The instructions say to place a rat card at the top of the initiative track, and move all mice down one space but do not specify whose turn it is. Who attacks first? The mouse who just lost? The mouse after that one? The rats?
I am assuming, for both questions, that the turns reset to the top of the initiative order, but that breaks the normal initiative order rules without explicitly stating to do so. Thoughts?

I always started with the next mouse on the initiative track and not break the order.

Heroes in Disguise
by Jeff Niekamp
After a long break, we finally got painting again. Unfortunately, it looks like it might be a while again after this. Still, we're making progress and having fun. Here's our latest set of painted figs. Our heroes, but in disguise. The idea will be that they "match" the elite rats in terms of color pallete. That being the reason the normal rats leave them alone -- assuming they're their superior officers.
