Thread: Mice and Mystics:: General:: Opinions on play style regarding withholding mission information

I have not yet played, but I've been through the rulebook and FAQ repeatedly. Normally, in RPG-style adventure games, the exploration aspect is more of an unknown, so I was wondering if anyone out there plays it where the preparer simply sets up the tiles and observes any special rules on the first one, and the group discovers the path to the objective on their own (with referral back to the chapter when exploration occurs).

I realize that the heroes are intimately familiar with the castle, but perhaps not as mice using tunnels. I also appreciate that the encounter cards provide a dose of unknown when exploring. Mostly, I was just curious if anyone had tinkered with limiting information, and how that turned out.
