Thanks for the playing-it-with-your-kid review. I got this because my 6 year old thought it would be very exciting and I wasn;t quite sure it was the right level for him. I also got the reprint of Dungeon! at the same time, because my boy thought it would also be very exciting and I did think it would be perfect for him. These boardgames are the Christmas family gifts to ourselves. We can hardly wait for Xmas to come and we start our new family tradition of playing these games every year on Xmas Eve.He's currently playing Niagara (he's remarkably good at this one - better than me!), Forbidden Island (very tense and intense for my 6 year old), Castle Panic, King of Tokyo, and The Adventurers Temple of Chac (which was a little complicated for him the first couple fo times). So hopefully he'll be ready for the mouse game too by Xmas.
Anyway, it's probably time to check out some of the Mouseguard and Redwing books from the library for night-time reading.
