Just thought I'd share some photos of the Mice and Mystics miniatures next to some other minis that might make good custom characters in the game. Excuse the unfinished paint jobs.
First we have the Reaper Mousling Heroes. They are really cute and made of metal. These guys are a bit smaller than M&M mice, approx. the scale that a child or dwarf mouse would be in this game.
Next we have some Games Workshop Skaven. They're from the current Warhammer line, and made of hard plastic. Their heads are much smaller than the M&M rats' and they're not as cartoony . I stuck all the figures on the same type of base to allow for a fair size comparison. From left to right, smallest to largest:

Personally I think all the Clanrats are too small for the game. They are barely the size of Maginos, the smallest of the mice, and they look tiny next to ol' bighead Collin:
The Stormvermin are a slightly better fit. Still not quite as bulky as the M&M rats, and they don't tower over Collin, but they do look pretty imposing next to Maginos. I think they'd be good for elite rats and for Vurst. They do look smarter than the M&M rats, what with the clothes-wearing and all.
Finally, there is Reaper's Legion of Justice and Caeke, a band of small furry critters, cast in metal. I’ve had these guys kicking around for a while, but they are hard to find online anymore. I think the hedgehog and lemur are the best fit. The otter is too small for the M&M world (same for the platypus, which I don't own).
