Large centipedes will most definitely eat mice. I'm not going to link to the YouTube video for it, as I would risk accidentally watching it again. Suffice to say that the spider and centipede are quite valid enemies and quite dangerous.As for the roaches, you can either assume that they are overwhelmed by the scent of tasty cheese emanating from the mice and accidentally biting them when they don't have any, or pretend that as the rats are actually transformed guards, the roaches are transformed guard dogs (who also find cheese irresistible).
I'm just waiting for an expansion with a couple of weasels, a snake, and a garden pond tile with a hungry koi fish and a giant frog.
